I am so sorry for the lack of posts recently. I have so much to say but I've been focusing on a new and improved blog to launch very soon. It will include new healthy recipes, a style section, fitness tips, and much more! So check back with me soon...

Also, I am going to have another 8 Week Challenge beginning October 22nd. Sign up through Cornelius Parks and Rec. We are a little more than halfway through the first 8 week session. The level of excitement and enthusiasm in that class has absolutely amazed me. I have really seen a huge level of improvement already in the KarDio Dance as well as the Boga. You guys rock!

{ex-cessor-ize)

Let's face it, excercise apparel is uber-priced. But it can be worth it, depending on the sport or how much you sweat. You may be looking for special gear to save you from embarrasment; such as cycling without spandex (gasp!), or very dark wet spots in inconspicuous places! Believe me, after teaching an entire class like that, you'll pay anything to avoid it.

However, if you're looking for something to dress up what you already have without paying for it, try ex-cessor-izing!

A hat or headband can keep your face free of fly-aways.









Sweatbands are very practical and so handy for sweat wiping. You can try a punch of color with this American Apparel wrist band.






Throw in the scarf! In my opinion it is the new leg-warmer (although I'm not gonna lie, I still rock those too). During the chilly months throw it on and head into the gym. Then you can easily shed it after warm-up.





I personally see this fabulous-find walking into a Yoga or "Boga" Studio.



Or for an urban sheek look, layer on the bracelets and cuffs (appropriate for guys and gals).
